Metro Roxas Water District Joins Tourism Week 2013Roxas City – The Metro Roxas Water District joins the Provincial Tourism Week held last September 23 to 29, 2013 with the Theme: Tourism and Water- Protecting our Common Future. The celebration was sphere-headed by Mr. Alphonsus “Al” D. Tesoro of the Provincial Tourism Office. The said event was also supported by Governor Victor Tanco, Sr. and the Provincial Government.The Provincial Tourism Week conducted different activities and participated by different private sectors, Local Government Units/Agencies, and other government offices such as Metro Roxas Water Disrict.

The celebration kicked off with Department of Tourism Accreditation Caravan. MRWD joins the Regional Tourism Expo by having a display booth and hosted a Water Treatment Plant tour of around 150 guests.
The MRWD booth presented and offered the following: Water Treatment Plant miniature, AVP of the MRWD history and water treatment processes, complimentary potable water for all, free MRWD “Tubi” Newsletter and pamphlets, and many more
