The Metro Roxas Water District (MRWD) Management is one with the country to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. Thus, MRWD assures continuous water service all throughout its service coverage, but customers are advised to always have stored water in clean and covered containers for emergency use.

MRWD announced that all Meter Reading and Water Bill Delivery were suspended from March 24, 2020 until further notice to eliminate the risk of contracting COVID-19.

The average consumption reading of the last (3) three months’ consumption will be used to determine the water bill of the customers.

It was later announced on April 29, 2020 that Meter Reading and Water Bill Delivery will resume on May 1, 2020 pursuant to the Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases resolution thru Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque, Jr., the Province of Capiz will be downgraded under General Community Quarantine effective May 1, 2020.

Consequently, the Penalty Moratorium will end on April 30, 2020. MRWD reminded its concessionaires that Penalty Charges with due dates from May 1, 2020 onward shall take effect.
