Payment Scheme For Concessionaires Affected By The Covid-19 Crisis

Roxas City – the MRWD Management announced on May 7, 2020 that the MRWD Board of Directors have approved the option to avail an alternative payment scheme through Board Resolution No. 26 series of 2020 titled “RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PAYMENT SCHEME FOR CONCESSIONAIRES AFFECTED BY THE COVID-19 CRISIS”.

The resolution provides that in consideration of the welfare of the MRWD concessionaires, the MRWD Board of Directors and Management has approved a payment scheme during the COVID-19 Crisis for affected Consumers with due dates from March 20, 2020 to April 30, 2020 by allowing longer payment periods as follows:

Residential, Commercial and Government Connections

25% down payment of total Water Bill
75% paid in three (3) straight monthly installments

Bulk Water Connections

30-day grace period to settle accounts until May 29, 2020

The MRWD Management reiterated that the following payment schemes are only applicable for bills with due dates from March 20, 2020 to April 30, 2020.
