Roxas City – The Metro Roxas Water District launches its first ever website – http://metroroxaswd.gov.ph during the Province’s joyous celebration of its 110th Foundation Anniversary in commemoration of the establishment of the Capiz’s Civil Governance. The launching of MRWD’s website coincides with this year’s “CAPIZTAHAN 2011” which is scheduled on April 15-17, 2011 with the theme: “Public-Private Partnership: Foundation of Good Governance”.

This project aims to provide fast and convenient access to information and latest up-date about MRWD for the water concessionaires in the Province. The MRWD Management and its Interim Board is one in the aim of improving public service by strengthening its partnership with the local government units for water supply progress and development.

The MRWD website features the company profile, services offered, water rates, the bids and awards, downloadable forms and frequently asked questions for a quick consumer reference. Another special feature of the MRWD website is that it allows interaction with the consumers by enabling them to post their comments and suggestions to open the line of communication between the Management and End-users. The on-line project is hoped to be an efficient resource of information to better advertise the MRWD’s services as water provider, to establish links with the consumers and a means to address their queries and concerns thru the net 24/7.
